About Maria

Hello! I've been working with children on and off since I was 13. I have lots of experience with time management, problem-solving, safety and multitasking. I have experience as a basketball coach, summer camp leader, and tutor. I'm also a swim teacher so I enjoy working with kids and building a fun, compassionate, and safe environment for them to learn and grow. I'd consider myself to be responsible, organized, and cheerful. I am currently a student at Cal Poly, but I'm looking for a job in the Bay Area while I'm home for the summer. In my free time I enjoy painting, going to the beach, playing basketball, and cooking. My favorite dish to cook is pasta! I'd love to work with any family that would like some extra help, whether it's housekeeping, keeping kids engaged or running errands.
