About Maria

I hired Maria to care for my mother and we set a date and time for her to start. She was supposed to call me to discuss details and she didn't call. Instead she sent a message through Care asking if she should call when I had already given her my number and told her to call. So then I sent her another message asking her to call. She agreed but then sent a message through Care again to tell me she had taken another position. I'm now without a caregiver for my mother due to Maria's lack of professionalism. If she had called or texted to let me know she was interviewing for other jobs I might have continued looking. Instead, she accepted the job with my mom and then continued looking for something else. I can only imagine it's a money thing, which is fine, but why not just say that?? Why accept a job and then wait til the 11th hour to tell someone? Maria might be a great caregiver, but based on her lack of professionalism I'm glad I never entrusted her with my mom.
