In college, I tutored part-time. I was also a nanny for an autistic 8-year-old and her 12-year-old sister for 6 months. Some of my duties included taking to and from school, cooking for them, planning their schedules and activities. I also worked as a day camp counselor (ages ranged 4-11) where we taught them swimming, cooking, music, arts and crafts, karate, etc. After I graduated I worked as a nanny for a toddler for two years. I started right after she turned 1 so my duties varied depending on her age but main responsibilities were cooking her meals, changing diapers (some potty training), and scheduling her days. At least twice a month, weather permitting, I would take her to day-trips to museums, parks, events-- any child friendly activity available. (I'm quite resourceful!) After that, I moved to London for about 3 years. During my time there, I completed a Master's Degree. I've just moved back to New York and am available for part-time work. My hours are very flexible-- even last minute (weekday) scheduling. My childcare approach is nurturing, active, fun and positive. I look forward to being able to help you!
