I am a retired health care professional, a Pharmacist, having practiced acute and ambulatory care at the University of Virginia Hospital for 30 years. Two years ago, a personal friend of mine began asking my advice concerning care for his Mother, who has Alzheimer's Disease and a complicated medication regimen. This lead into my management and administration of her medications, accompanying her to doctor office appointments and other care assistance twice daily.
