About Margaret

Greetings families! I am a fun and compassionate educator looking for a part time (10-20 hours per week) position as a tutor. I have worked in 4 different school districts facilitating small groups for math, literacy, and English language development for 2nd-5th grade and as a paraprofessional in K-8. I have also assisted students with test prep for choice high schools and colleges. Additionally, I have 8 years of nannying experience. I hold a Master's in School Psychology from the University of Denver. With my experience and education combined, I am an extremely qualified tutor who knows how children learn best- by getting them engaged and interested in the material. In my opinion, education should be a partnership in which both parties share responsibility and respect one another. I am an animal lover, very active, computer savvy, and fully vaccinated. When I'm not teaching I enjoy reading, yoga, rock climbing, cooking, and hiking. Please reach out if we sound like a good fit!
