Hello!! My professional experiences have included working as a Developmental Therapy Specialist for over 7 years with Indiana's First Steps program, a Parent Educator, teacher, substitute teacher, and Family Support Specialist in a home visitation program. Additionally, I have worked with foster families and families of varying ethnic and social backgrounds and languages. I have always had a passion for working with children and families and for promoting a love of lifelong learning in children through everyday play activities and books. I have come to understand, and believe strongly in, the power of a healthy family and its impact on raising healthy, independent, secure and productive children. I enjoy taking kids to the park/playground, library and other outings. I love sharing books with kids and fostering their interests! I am the mother of two young adult boys and my canine companion. I am also a student!
