About Malea

Hi there! My name is Malea and I am so excited to be a part of your family. I am passionate about service and I have spent my entire career serving children and families within my community. I began babysitting while in high school and was a full-time nanny during summers while pursuing my undergraduate degree. I also gained experience in a formal daycare setting working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children and in a behavioral residential facility working with at-risk teens. Since obtaining my degree, I have worked therapeutically with adults struggling with substance use, foster care/adoption licensing and placement, and as a Clinical therapist and team lead for youth aged 3-23. I currently work as a part-time clinical therapist at a private practice with clients aged 5-adulthood. I am halfway finished with my Master's degree and am expecting to graduate in May 2024. I am hoping to connect with a loving, flexible, and open-minded family.
