About Makenna

I'd describe my personality as honest, empathetic, and patient. I like working with kids because I want to have a positive impact on the lives of children, help foster kids in being able to reach their developmental milestones, and be a positive role model. Aside from the help and guidance I have provided to my three younger siblings, I started working with kids in high school as a childcare assistant teacher, have volunteered on missions trips, and completed volunteer experiences with kids in the hospital setting. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and traveling. I am an adventurous person and love getting to experience new things in life whether it be trying new foods or going to a new place. One thing you should know about me is that the care I provide towards children is centered around compassion, empathy, and love. Some of my skills include communication, active listening, patience, compassion, and problem-solving.
