About Makeda

Hello! My name is Makeda . I am currently a college student in South Florida on the premed track. I started working with children in 2014, and have continued to tutor, volunteer, and work with children ever since. I have worked with children from elementary to high school. I have also gained a lot of hands-on child care for newborns and toddlers as I currently have a younger sister in her toddler stage. With my aspirations to go to medical school, working with children has played a large role in developing my interpersonal skills for all ages. I truly enjoy working with children and being able to help them grow their passions and interests. Outside of academics, I have a passion for health, fitness, and the arts. When I was younger I spent 2 semesters working on media and arts at parsons, as well as participating in my track and volleyball team. I consider myself a very driven and positive person that loves to get to know people!
