Hi y'all! I am a patient, affectionate, and energetic mom of 2 boys, who can cook, clean, and play all day. I absolutely love doing arts and crafts, sensory stimulation activities, learning and getting creative with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old. I have previously worked for a licensed childcare facility, but have been a stay at home mom since my oldest started showing early signs of developmental disabilities. My little ones both have special needs (autism and ADHD) so I am very experienced with both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids. I'm a very professional, responsible and punctual kind of person. I'm a nonsmoker, comfortable with pets, I have reliable transportation, and I'm flexible on pay, because my mom always said: money doesn't grow on trees. As a mother myself, safety is my number one priority. Children in my care always have tons of fun under my watchful eye in an engaging environment. Utterly above and beyond is how I'd describe Makayla. We had a lot of anxieties around finding childcare and "the right fit" and she put those anxieties to rest within her first hour at our house. She cared for our daughter amazingly, with engagement, development, and also provided us fantastic reports and feedback on how the day went. Would hire her again TOMORROW.
