About Mahalia

I have been a family caregiver for the past nine years, providing support and assistance with my loved ones with various needs. Throughout this time, I have gained firsthand experience in managing caregiving responsibilities for a stroke survivor and for a person living with dementia. I have managed meal preparation, house cleaning, medication reminders, grocery shopping, companionship, and more. I understand the pressure families face when trying to find a trusted aide. My experience has deepened my empathy for families navigating this process. I am committed to providing the same level of fate and trust that I would want for my own family. My skills include creative and adaptive communication, innovative problem solving, and cultural sensitivity and awareness.
