About Maggie

My name is Maggie. I graduated high school with my associates and went to UNCG for early childhood education. I now have two licenses, one for birth through kindergarten, and an add-on for K-5. I currently teach kindergarten and am looking for work from June 15th-July 15th. I was a lead teacher at the Goddard Preschool for a year before going to work for a wonderful family who I was with for two and a half years. I am about to finish my first year teaching kindergarten. Working with children is my passion. I love music and find joy in singing/guitar, which I implement regularly in my teaching. I believe autonomy, empathy and resilience are the most important qualities to teach young children. I create lesson plans that cross all developmental domains based on the child's interests and can provide examples of those.
