I have worked with people with special needs for a short time, but have found it to be the most rewarding and heartwarming way to spend my time helping others. I spent the past year caring for an 8-year-old with a neurological disorder; I learned so much from her: how to be patient, kind, understanding and taking on a new perspective the has ultimately shaped the way I live my life. I am comfortable with g-tubes, feeding, medicine, changing diapers, clothes, bathing, and any other care necessary.
