About Maeve

Hi families! My name is Maeve, and I am a freshman at NC State double majoring in International Studies and Political Science. I have 7 years of child-care experience; I started watching children at 12 years old as a mommy's helper to two young children under the ages of 2. Since then, I have babysat and nannied for multiple families, cared for multiple children with disabilities, taught swim lessons to five and6-year-olds, and I have worked at an in-home daycare for the past two years. My most experience, however, has come from watching a family consistently for the past four years. I started caring for their family when I was 15 when they had two children, and now they have four wonderful children, so I was able to be a part of their lives as they grew in size, and I grew as a person. I am so thankful to have been a light in so many children's lives and to have been a positive impact on them. I can't wait to continue to make a difference here on Care. com! :)
