I am a 26-year-old woman who has a lot of background working with those who have different needs. My passion for helping others began in elementary school. My best friend was a quadriplegic and I am very comfortable helping with all aspects of daily life - lifting/transporting, feeding, bathing, toileting, administering medication etc. At age 17, I began working as a personal care assistant for a young woman with Cerebral Palsy. I worked with her for about 4 years. One of my best friends is profoundly deaf, so I am fluent in sign language as well. In college, one of my roommates was blind and had a guide dog. I am comfortable with guiding and around service animals. Thank you for reading my page!
