I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and I absolutely love children. I am the eldest of six siblings and have grown up taking care of kids. I have babysat children from newborns (2 months old) to early teens. I am previously CPR certified. I just returned from studying in Europe and will be attending Cal Poly in the fall. I will be available after May 20th to August 18th for babysitting or nannying. My previous jobs include working at a frozen yogurt shop and Safeway. I plan on joining the peace corps after I get my degree. Special Needs Experience: Two of my closest friends have physical disabilities who I have assisted with. One of them has Morquio 5A which is a rare growth disorder that prevents the person from growing past a certain size. My other dear friend has CP and when we were traveling together in Europe, I would help carry his wheelchair and navigate him throughout the cobble stone streets of Paris. They both only had physical needs, not mental. I am used to carrying large wheelchairs and assisting with carrying people. My sister has ADHD and I have spent most of my life trying to help her learn easier and find methods to focus. I have never had any official training but I am open to any type of training necessary.
