Hi, My name is Maddie, I don't have any paid experience caring for children with special needs, but I am educated and knowledgeable about Autism (one of my best friends has autism, I've grown up with her since age 4), ADHD, Aspergers, Down syndrome, and developmental and behavioral differences. I am studying psychology and am very experienced in patiently redirecting behavior with a positive and calm demeanor. Every moment can be a learning opportunity, and I strive to do the best I can to tailor my care to the child's needs, and communicate and work with the child's parents, in order to best help them develop and grow.
