I love working in the Essential Skills special education room at Mt. Vernon Schools. Known for my empathy, patience, and positivity, I excel in creating supportive and engaging environments. I remain calm and understanding in challenging situations, always seeking the reasons behind behaviors. I love being part of a child's success and bring excitement and laughter to their daily activities. Skilled in organizing fun and educational summer activities, I offer a unique ability to maintain a positive atmosphere while overcoming difficulties. While studying 4 years of Special Education and Elementary Education at Purdue University, I was also in their women's choir the Purduettes. I have always had a passion for working with children but also enjoy singing, cooking, reading and crafting.
