Over the past five years I have worked as nanny for a boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. I have been with him since infancy and have helped him find comfort in his world. I have worked very closely with his therapist, specifically speech and occupational therapy. I have learned so much about caring for those on the spectrum. This has motivated me to pursue my own career in occupational therapy.
