Hi. I have always loved helping the elderly and those with mental challenges. I feel that they are often misunderstood and overlooked. I have experience with both populations and I find it very rewarding to help others. Having a family member with psychiatric illness has given me first-hand experience with all aspects of assisting the mentally ill. He had several hospitalizations and I learned to be proactive about meeting with social workers and doctors to help determine his treatment options. I have also worked as a preschool aide and I have all my clearances.
