About Lydia

I'd describe my personality as fun loving, sweet, and patient. I like working with kids because it's fun and rewarding! It is so important to me to be investing in young people's lives, loving and caring for them, to support their learning and growth to help them thrive. I'm looking for a job that will enable me to stay home with my new baby girl or bring her with me :) My childcare experience started with helping care for my younger siblings. I've helped with teaching children, at church as well, in all ages from nursery to school age. I've been a baby sitter many times. I worked as a paid childcare teacher for a year at a daycare for my first year out of high school. I Started as a floater so I gained experience with all ages, then became a toddler teacher. After that I became a licensed optician. Helping kids pick glasses was a highlight of my work day. I'm looking forward to working more with children again!
