I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, creative, and joyful. I like working with kids because they open my perspective up so much! And I love learning about and supporting them in their interests and endeavors. At this time I am looking for jobs that are somewhat flexible with scheduling. However, if we work well together I would love to find something that could grow into a more regular position! I started working with kids when I was 15 years old, at an outdoor education camp. After that I babysat on and off for about four years, and I currently run a summer Shakespeare camp for teens in Vermont! I'm an artist and a writer, so in my free time l'm often writing, painting, or drawing. I also love to garden and craft, and I'm very interested in history! One thing you should know about me is that I aim to be as screen-free as possible around kids! This means that I don't rely on screens for entertainment, I prefer to come up with activities based on the child's interests and needs.
