About Lucy

For the past 9 years, I have been caring for of an aging great-grandmother with dementia and later received hospice care. I am a certified Medication Technician and have First Aid and CPR certification with experience monitoring vitals and maintaining oxygen machine. I love to engage clients in their favorite hobbies and practice physical therapy exercises to maintain strength. My favorite activities to do with clients include: reading the newspaper together and discussing, listening to music and dancing, taking walks and spending time outside (weather permitting) spending time with their family and friends and cooking (if the client is up to sitting at the table and preparing ingredients). You can count on me for food preparation and grocery shopping, light housekeeping, driving to outings and appointments, administering medication along with refilling prescriptions, maintaining personal hygiene (diaper changes, bathing, etc.) and more.
