I've grown up around special needs, my younger brother has Autism and is non verbal. Growing up with him has taught me a lot, and I've furthered my experience by working at Special friends day camp in Stanwood WA my freshman year summer, and then at Wonderland Camp at Lake of the Ozarks Missouri for my junior year summer and this summer. Wonderland camp runs for 12 weeks each summer and is for people with any physical or mental disability ages 6-86! From working here over the summers, I've been able to learn so much and I would love to learn from working with your family too. In my future after high school, I plan to become a special education teacher.
