Since the age of 10, I have been blessed with the ability to care for my disabled brother who has Muscular Dystrophy. Years later, I welcomed and cared for his wife, who has Cerebral Palsy. I was also a Residential Counselor for 13 mild/moderately mentally challenged women who resided in a group home. There we prepared the women to eventually move into an assisted living facility. Through all of this, I have had to learn to be a great counselor, cook healthy and in large quantity, administer medications, interact with doctors, etc. I enjoy arts and crafts, games, and being active, which helps stimulate everyone's minds and bodies.
