I have loved the work I do. I have been in the Home care industry for over (30) years. I have had many experiences, doing hands on personal cares and homemaking services for seniors in their homes. I have assisted seniors with their personal cares, showering/bathing, dressing, safe transfers in and out of the bath, nail care, assisting with their medication needs, also providing housekeeping services as requested, meal preparation, laundry, changing linen, cleaning, dusting/vacuuming, kitchen clean up, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping and more. I have give 18 years providing care and compassion to seniors, to improve and keep their quality of life, living in their own homes as long as possible. The last five years, I was a Care Coordinator for a home care agency in St. Paul, working, staffing/scheduling and managing a home care agency. I recently have left that position, wanting to work one on one with seniors again. I have worked with memory care/dementia/Alzheimer's.
