About Lori

I have 3 adult children, 2 sons and a daughter. My oldest son is an elementary school music teacher and my other son is an actor. My daughter has a degree in ASL and is continuing her education here in the Hudson Valley. I studied Early Childhood Education in college and am certified in infant/child CPR and first aid. I have worked in daycare with toddlers, taught preschool classes and was a Girl Scout Leader. I have been a nanny for over 10 years and was with a family on Long Island for 6 1/2 years. When I started they had an 11-month-old daughter and then I was with them through the births of 3 sons. Upon moving to Saugerties I was lucky to become the nanny to infant twins. They are turning 2 soon and will be going to Mountain Top Waldorf School. I have my own car and will drive your children to and from school, activities, and help with homework. I'll assist with light housekeeping, meal prep and children's laundry. I am a non-smoker and love all pets. I will be available Sept 9th.

Lori worked for us for 6 1/2 years caring for our now 4(!) kids. She is kind, patient and reliable, helps with picking up, making lunches and laundry. She drives kids to activities and keeps our house running smoothly. Our needs are changing and we have decided that our family needs live-in/au pair help. Lori was amazing doing homeschooling this spring with our kids, and could be great for a family that needs someone who drives and can oversee homeschooling.
