I have been a special needs teacher for 12 years in public schools with a wide variety of students. However, most of my experience has been working with adolescents with autism, neurological impairments, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, etc. I love working with students to help them become as independent as they are capable with as limited supports as needed. I have also worked with students who have dyslexia, learning disabilities, and ADHD who need different methods of instruction in order to show their true capacity for attaining knowledge.
