About Liwei

I'd describe my personality as a kind, responsible, and honest person. I like tutoring because I enjoy connecting with students and finding ways to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I enjoy helping students learn Mandarin and understand Chinese culture in an engaging and supportive environment. I began tutoring during university and later worked as a Chinese and Math teacher in after-school programs. I also have experience with in-home tutoring, where I adapted lessons to fit each student's needs. Outside of work, I love spending time in nature through hiking, singing for fun, and exploring different musical instruments. One thing you should know about me is that I'm passionate about teaching and love helping students grow in both skills and confidence. My skills include personalized teaching, lesson planning, and effective communication with students of different age groups.
