Kids are and always have been my biggest passion, I started nannying around eight years ago, with infants being the first age I watched. I worked at a daycare where I had the opportunity to work with amazing children, ages three months to four years. I'd have up to four infants by myself, or six toddlers depending on the day. In addition, I have worked with twins and children with extra needs such as A. D. H. D, O. C. D, anger issues, autism, anxiety, and severe allergies. I love doing crafts and outdoor time with children, watching them flourish and discover both themselves and the world around them is spectacular. Scotti is absolutely wonderful - my husband and I can't say enough great things. She first started babysitting for us in August 2021 when our daughter was 3 months old. Scotti is a natural with children (and humans in general). She is calm, kind, perceptive and wise beyond her years - we always loved when our daughter got to spend time with her, and we appreciated coming home to a happy, content little girl. We recently moved to DC and asked Scotti if she would fly up to watch our daughter while we settled in and sorted out childcare. [We provided travel, hotel, etc.] We got to know Scotti even better that week as we floated around the house during the workday. She is truly incredible with our daughter; she understands her personality, reads what she needs in the moment and perfectly engages her. It's really a very special quality. We love Scotti and will miss her nearby!
