About Lisa

In-home care or nanny, I am patient, nurturing and creative. I like working with kids because caring for children is something that has always come to me naturally. Working with children can be challenging, but so rewarding . I hope to build a strong bond with the child and the family. I started working with kids at the age of 10 when I was a mother's helper for a neighbor, whose child was born with severe disabilities. After college, I worked in a preschool before I became a Director. After I was married and moved out of state, I worked as a nanny until I started a family of my own. I was a stay-at-home mom for 20+ years. I then became a licensed in-home child care provider. Later, for financial reasons, I took a job outside of the home. I am now retiring from that position and looking to return to where I started. In my spare time, I like to enjoy as much time as possible with my growing family. I have three biological sons and an adopted daughter. I am a grandmother of three.
