About Lindsey

Hi! My name is Lindsey . I recently got married and moved to the Spring Arbor area! My husband & I met at Spring Arbor University as students. Since before college, I have had a huge passion for caring for seniors. My grandparents have all passed now, but they all had a major impact on my life. I was closest with my grandma who passed in August 2023. She was my last living grandparent and I had the opportunity to see her almost every day when I worked at her nursing home for a season. She had dementia for the last decade of her life & it was definitely a challenge to walk through as a family. It was disheartening but every interaction felt meaningful. I had many purposeful interactions with others at the nursing home. It meant the world to be able to be a companion to them, especially those who didn't have people visiting them. I have so much love and appreciation for seniors. They remind me that time is precious and they inspire me to live and love as fully as possible.
