Ever since I was a young girl, I always dreamed about helping other people. I originally wanted to pursue a career as a special education teacher, but I have decided to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. While attending college, I gained experience working with children with disabilities. As part of the CSD curriculum, each student must complete undergraduate clinic hours providing supervised intervention to children with various disabilities. I have 2.5 years of experience working with children in the autism spectrum disorders, cognitive disabilities, language disorders, etc.
