About Linda

Linda took care of my sister, Kathy, for almost two years until Kathy (living with ahlzeimers) recently moved to a Memory Care facility. Linda is an unpretentious, modest, down-to-earth "straight shooter" and a wonderful caregiver. In her work with Kathy, Linda was caring, respectful, and resourceful, and she provided helpful feedback about Kathy's needs. Linda was creative in cooking good meals and finding fun things for Kathy to do. Kathy had limited mobility and was incontinent, and Linda was skilled in assisting with transfers, bathing, toileting, and dressing. The job also included many housekeeping tasks (including pet care), and Linda was diligent and took initiative. Kathy was a challenging client and caring for her required much patience, persistence, and the ability to not take things personally. Linda excelled in these abilities. Though Linda took care of Kathy independently she was also part of a group coined "Team Kathy" which consisted of three other caregivers and various family members. The group mainly communicated via text. Linda showed herself to be a loyal and supportive team player and often provided humor so needed for this difficult work. As you can tell I highly recommend Linda.
