I've been working with children for the past 10 years. I have done 10 years of babysitting, 8 as a camp counselor, 4 as a preschool/substitute teacher, and tutoring. I am CPR/first aid certified and have done lifeguard training and privately lifeguarded in the past. I love working with children and building a bond with them and becoming a part of the family. I have worked with families that have 10+ children and have done overnights while parents were on vacation. I also have essentially been a third parent raising my 3 nieces. I have experience with children from 6 weeks old up til 14. I also have worked with children with sensory issues, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety issues and high functioning autism. I am currently getting my degree online and also have a valid drivers license. I am okay with light housework and helping prepare meals/cook within reason. Lily is one of the best babysitters we’ve hired, she was originally are 2 yo teacher in school and we were in a predicament where we couldn’t get to school for pick up on time not only did she offer to drive our kids she also offered to watch them until we got home so we didn’t have to find playdates for them. Lily was already my child’s favorite Morah (teacher in school) but when I finally made it home all 4 of kids were having a blast with her plus she har already made and fed them dinner and had the older ones do their homework and once she had left they begged me to have her come back to babysit again which says a lot since my kids have always hated nanny’s. From then on we’ve used her for any occasion we needed her for she is an extremely safe driver, extremely creative with activities, she’s also extremely kind while also being able to appropriately discipline.
