About Lianne

I'm looking for a job that allows me to positively impact the people I spend time with. I started working with kids when I was in 5th grade after taking a babysitter course. I did day care full time for two girls ages 6 and 8 for two summers while I was in high school. I have taught swimming lessons for ages 3+ since I was 15 years old. One thing you should know about me is I am certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/First Aid/AED and can also instruct lifeguard courses. I have been a swim coach for all ages and abilities for 8 years, and began teaching swim lessons 15 years ago. I am also certified as a Wilderness First Responder. My skills include patience, safety-oriented and fun! I have a lot of enthusiasm and spent many years babysitting and coaching youth swimming; I was a YMCA head swim coach for two years, working with ages 5-18. I am extremely active and outdoorsy so if you want me to take kids on adventures I can! I also love teaching and tutoring.
