About Lia

I have extensive experience caring for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including children and adults with diverse needs. I hold certifications in First Aid/CPR (BLS) and mental health crisis intervention, which have equipped me with essential skills for a variety of situations. I have 3 years of nursing school experience and 5 years as a CNA, working across special education, critical care, hospice, dementia, psychiatric settings, and home care. I've also worked as a nanny and have tutored children and teens in English and Science. Though I began pursuing a nursing degree, I've redirected my focus to psychiatric health. My goal is to become a licensed mental health trauma counselor specializing in children after graduating in 2026 and continuing to grad school for my LMHC.
