I have been working with a friend for the last 12 years providing in-home senior assistance for people that would like to remain at home but require some help. We have followed people from home, to assisted living, nursing homes and hospice care. I have received training from the Alzheimer's Assoc. and have had experience with dementia as well as medical issues. I have provided meals, shower assistance, personal care, doctor's visits, laundry and light housekeeping, pet care and vet visits, grocery shopping and general organization. Before I started with seniors, I was a medical technologist. I enjoy gardening, reading, and horseback riding in my spare time.
