I have always loved children. I began my career in case management and counseling preteens for the Y. W. C. A., and spent my counseling career advocating for youth. I have raised two children and have six grandchildren. I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified and have taken several other classes through the Red Cross over the last year. I am certified in Crisis Intervention and Trauma and have worked extensively with special-needs youth and adults.

Leslie was a wonderful nanny to our son (6 yrs) with medically complex needs. She went above and beyond learning about his diagnoses and even bringing over medical binders that we still use today. She was attentive to the timing of his medication and loved and cared for him as if he were her own. Leslie has the skill set to work with all ages and a wide range of special needs. She has recently cared for our newborn foster daughter and was extremely attentive to her and her needs given her disrupted attachment from the biological family. Inter-personally Leslie is a delight to work with. She is friendly, warm, caring, a hard worker and puts her heart into everything that she does. We now consider Leslie a part of our family. We highly recommend her without reservation.
