About Leanne

I'd describe my personality as patient, encouraging, and joyful! I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing those light bulb moments; when a learner truly grasps a concept and begins to feel confident and proud of their learning. I started tutoring when I was in high school and continued into college. For the past several years, I have worked as a classroom teacher and continued tutoring to help students grow through focused, personalized support. In my spare time, I like to read, try out new baking recipes, spend time outdoors, and work on my graduate school courses. One thing you should know about me is I genuinely care about helping each learner feel successful and confident. I believe in meeting learners where they are, creating joyful and engaging learning experiences, and celebrating growth and success.
