About Leah

With a strong passion for art and for teaching, I offer private art lessons that are customized to suit the student's individual artistic journey. From 17 years of fine art training and working as an artist, I have expertise working in acrylic and oil painting as well as charcoal, graphite pencils, and chalk pastels. I teach a wide range of styles from realism to abstract, impressionistic to surrealism, and everything in between. I share my knowledge of Art History throughout the lessons, using old master's techniques as well as ones I have created throughout my art career to assist in developing the student's foundational and technical abilities. From new artists aged 4 to adults aspiring to enhance their skills, I love to tailor each lesson to match the student's interests and abilities for the best possible experience in working towards becoming a fine artist!
