About Lauren

I am a certified licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. I have experience working in home health care, short term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. During the pandemic I performed CNA duties as needed in a SNF. My passion is working with seniors; providing assistance, encouraging participation in tasks and activities that they enjoy, promoting health and improving their overall quality of living. For the last 10 years I have worked primarily with the geriatric population and have experience working with individuals with a wide array of physical, neurological and cognitive limitations including Alzheimer's and dementia. As an OT I am knowledgeable in the use of adaptive equipment and providing assistance with mobility and transfers. I am able to perform housekeeping tasks, assist with shopping, meal preparation and medication management. I am compassionate, reliable & professional. My resume is available upon request.
