Lauren has such a strong personal work ethic. She is extremely self disciplined when it comes to school, sports, participating in volunteer or community service type work, child care, pet & house sitting. She is currently in the top 3% of her class of over 600 students and currently has a 4.35 weighted GPA. She has recently received her lifeguard certification, First Aid and CPR. Lauren is also on a swim team. Lauren loves personal challenges when people tell her she is not good enough or capable to participate in a specific sport! She loves being able to prove them wrong with hard work, effort and perseverance! Lauren has also been on two competitive gymnastics teams for the past 7 years both club and school. Lauren was very tall to be a gymnast and was told by one of her coaches she would never be good enough to compete a specific league, where she did and placed 4th overall on the state for her age and level division! That was most empowering. Lauren uses that often when others have self esteem or body image issues or have verbalized negative self talk. This young people really seem to gravitate towards Lauren and she is so patient and encouraging with them. Out of all the high school gymnasts Lauren is one of the only ones who the little girls tend to invite to their birthday parties because they know she will go and support them and goes out of her way to make the little ones feel special. I am very proud of Lauren! I know she would do an amazing job if given the chance to work!
