About Lauren

I have over 12 years of babysitting/childcare experience with children ages 6 months to 12 years. In addition to at-home babysitting, I have been a long-term nanny for 2 years and currently work as an elementary school substitute teacher and middle school tutor. I am comfortable working with children who have learning or physical disabilities and/or special needs. I am an experienced cook and can clean and keep up with any housework that may be required. I am a proponent of clear communication. I do not believe in violence as a form of discipline, and believe that children respond best to an open, safe, and friendly environment where they can feel listened to.
