I am a 9th year special education teacher at an alternative high school in Denver. I am originally from Wisconsin, and received my bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I taught at a traditional high school for 6 years, specializing in reading and math. I then received my master's degree from Marian University in At-Risk and Alternative Education. I was a special education teacher and taught math at a detention center outside Milwaukee for a year before moving to Denver a year and a half ago. I have a passion for teaching and working with students! I am available in the evenings and on weekends.
