I would 100% recommend Laurie for any babysitting job. My husband and I were traveling to Galveston for a family wedding, and bringing our 9-month old with us. We needed someone to watch our baby for two nights while we attended the rehearsal dinner and reception. We had a lot of anxieties: first flight with the baby, first time staying overnight in a hotel with him, and first time really leaving him with a babysitter who was not friends or family. Laurie was so sweet with him and cared for him so kindly, even when he was overwhelmed. She worked with us to keep our baby as close to his normal schedule as we could, which was important to us. Additionally, in the days and weeks leading up to our travel, Laurie was very communicative and responsive on email and text to confirm her availability and make sure that we were all clear on the plans. It made such a difference to us to have a responsible, kind, and trusted caretaker watching our baby while we attended family events. It really took the stress away and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. I cannot recommend Laurie highly enough.
