About Laura

Hi parents! I recently graduated with my master's in speech-language pathology and am working as a pediatric SLP. I have eight+ years of babysitting experience with children 4 months to 12 years old, and I previously worked as an assistant preschool/daycare teacher before graduate school. As an SLP, I work with children with a variety of diagnoses and needs. I am CPR and first aid certified. I engage in imaginative child-directed play while keeping safety in mind. I like to follow the parent's lead and value open communication. I do not mind pets in the house or light household work. I am passionate about working with children and genuinely enjoy playing, reading, teaching, and spending time with them! I would love to watch your kids for an evening for a date night, event, or anything you may need.
