I've been working private duty for the past 10 years and the goal is the same EXCELLENT care for you or your loved one. My goal is to keep seniors safe happy and healthy in a comfortable Environment which is typically home. Everything from companion care to doctors visit, the seniors I work with will feel at home safe and maintain an excellent quality of life. This has been a passion of mine since I can remember. At a young age I helped in the care of my great grandmother that had dementia and as time went on I felt the desire to continue this calling into my adulthood. Worked very well with my elderly mother for over 10 years, who was 101 years at the time of her transition. Extremely dependable, able to work without direction. Takes and gives suggestions well. Able to establish positive relationships with family and team members as well as the patient. Pro-active in terms of determining the patients needs. Was able to transport and bathe and feed my mother who could not stand on her own. Was able to supervise and train additional staff who came on board. Was able to give positive advice in terms of maintaining a "Plan of Care". Has a lot of experience in caring for others. Overall, has shown to be a very consciousness worker who follows through with her obligations.
