About Lara

Hello! My name is Lara and I am a middle school science teacher at a small public school in Beaver County, residing in Pittsburgh. I have previous experience teaching biology, environmental science, and chemistry and also tutor at a math learning center for 4+ years. As a result, I have extensive experience with multiple age groups (grades K-12). My expertise is all science subjects, including high school biology, chemistry, microbiology, botany, and zoology. I recently tutored a private student in all 6th grade subjects for online distance education, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies subjects. As a young professional educator, I love working with each individual student and establishing a unique bond with them to foster a greater joy for learning.
