About Lakhena

Hi! My name is Lakhena, but I go by Lucky. I've been a nanny for 7+ years, caring for children from 6 months to 17 years old. I live an active lifestyle, and tennis is a big part of that. I've volunteered for several years with ACEing Autism, teaching children of all ages how to play tennis. That experience has helped me connect with a wide range of learning styles and personalities. I'm certified in adult and infant CPR/AED and first aid. I also hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in education, which supports my passion for creating a safe and active learning environment. My goal as a caretaker is to provide structured play that nurtures emotional development, cognitive skills, and social confidence. In my free time, I am rock climbing, playing board games, crocheting, and doing jigsaw puzzles. I hope to instill a love for learning and trying new things as strongly as mine.
